Hairfall Treatment

The treatment for hair fall consists of two parts. One is to find out the cause of hair fall. This would include examination of the scalp / body, blood investigations for deficiencies, hormonal imbalance and in selected cases scalp biopsy.

The treatment part of the hair fall would be to correct the abnormalities detected in investigations. Therapy given in the form of oral medications, injectables, mesotherapy and microneedling. This would vary from case to case. In patients with male pattern baldness who are not responding to medical line of treatment, they have the option of undergoing Hair Transplantation.

This procedure is done under local anesthesia .The hair follicles are redistributed from the back of the scalp to the areas with scanty hair. The technique used is FUE.
